From 234 to 300 € a night
This is the densest band, and it does not mean small. At 234 €, a villa in the Saint-Gilles heights sleeps eight, with a pool and a sea view. At 263 €, a Tampon villa takes fourteen. At 280 €, a villa in La Possession holds twelve.
What the low band does not promise: walking distance to the lagoon, or a heated pool. Several sit back from the coast, which means a few minutes of driving and a lot of quiet.
From 300 to 550 € a night
The middle band mostly adds equipment and a view. Hot tub, heated pool, barbecue in the garden, sea or mountain view: the catalogue listings name them one by one, and those details justify the gap more than floor area does.
Above 550 € a night
The catalogue's most expensive places are also its largest: fourteen guests in Saint-Gilles-les-Bains, up to 747 € a night, six bedrooms. At 743 €, a villa in Boucan Canot reaches the same capacity with direct access to the beach. At that level, location sets the price as much as the house does.

A nightly price only compares at equal capacity. Otherwise it compares two houses and two groups.
- Divide the price by the number of guests before comparing anything
- Check whether the pool is heated, especially for a stay between June and September
- Count the bathrooms: they run short faster than bedrooms
- Read the actual distance to the lagoon in the description, not the commune name

Dividing by guests changes everything: our 404 € villa for ten came cheaper than the 300 € flat for four.

Heated pool is worth checking: not all are, and the water can be cold in the austral winter.
